APFC provides teachers of Alaska Studies and related subjects a variety of resources to convey information about Permanent Fund history, investment concepts and public policy issues. This section of our web site contains both downloadable online resources as well as samples of hard copy resources that teachers may order at no cost.
Powerpoint:Teachers may download the PowerPoint to present to their classes. This file contains a notes section to help teachers deliver the presentation.
Quizes: Our site features quizzes based on information in the Fund's content-rich web site and other sites referenced on the quiz forms. Email the APFC to obtain answer keys.
Posters: In 2005 the APFC produced "FundWorks" posters and distributed them to Alaska social studies and related classes statewide. If you do not have one in your classroom and would like to order one, email the APFC to request one.
Guides to the Permanent Fund: In 2005, the APFC mailed one sample guide to all secondary social studies and related subject teachers, and offered to send them one classroom set. If you would like to request a classroom set, email the APFC .
The Alaska Department of Education reviewed and approved Content Standards for Alaska Students for the APFC's on line curriculum. The standards addressed include English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Geography, Government & Citizenship, History, Alaska Studies, Technology, and Employability.
