Director of Communications
Laura Achee

As Director of Communications for the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, Laura Achee is the primary contact for media and public inquiries, and oversees production of all of the Corporation’s publications. She is also the legislative liaison, serving as the primary contact for legislative offices and tracking APFC legislation. In addition, Ms. Achee is the ethics supervisor for the Corporation.

Hired as Research and Communications Liaison in 2003, Ms. Achee held that position until her promotion to Director of Communications in 2005. Prior to that, she served two years as a legislative aide in the Alaska State Legislature, and two years as Press Officer for the Alaska Senate Majority. Other positions include Marketing Specialist for the Providence Alaska Laboratory, Blood Drive Coordinator for the Blood Bank of Alaska, and on-air reporter for KFQD radio in Anchorage, Alaska.
